Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition (2024)
Lunar Lake means long battery and a quiet chassis, but it also means you need kernel 6.11 before Linux behaves. On a current Fedora it is a clean ultrabook; on an old LTS it is a headache.
Compiled from public sources and community data, not hands-on tested. What that means.
Best on fedora. Confidence: high

fedora: Lunar Lake (258V) wants kernel 6.11 or newer for Arc 140V graphics and sane power. Use Fedora 41 or later, not an older LTS frozen on 6.8. UVC webcam works. Speakers want an EasyEffects profile. s0ix only.
ubuntu-lts: Ubuntu 24.04 ships 6.8, too old for Lunar Lake; use the HWE kernel or 24.10 or newer. Once on 6.11 plus the Arc graphics work well. Fingerprint depends on sensor revision.
