MSI Summit 13 AI+ Evo (A2VMT, Core Ultra 7 258V)
A 1.0 kg Lunar Lake convertible with a 2.8K OLED and a 12-hour battery, dragged to minor-tweaks by the same IPU6 webcam every recent Intel thin-and-light has. Good travel machine on Linux if you accept a USB cam and run kernel 6.12+.
Compiled from public sources and community data, not hands-on tested. What that means.
Best on fedora. Confidence: high

fedora: Lunar Lake (Core Ultra 200V) needs kernel 6.12 or newer for the Arc 140V iGPU and battery, so Fedora 41+ over the Ubuntu 24.04 GA. s2idle and the OLED panel are good. The convertible touch and pen work with iio-sensor-proxy and a recent desktop. The blocker is the IPU6 MIPI webcam: needs the libcamera/intel-vsc stack and still does not light up in normal apps. Audio amp wants a UCM profile. Soldered LPDDR5x. ArchWiki: Intel Lunar Lake on Linux →
ubuntu-lts: Use Ubuntu 24.10 or the 24.04 HWE kernel. Same IPU6 webcam problem as on Fedora; the convertible sensors need a current iio-sensor-proxy.
