System76 Galago Pro (galp7)
A serviceable 14-inch with a 45 W i7-13700H, 144 Hz panel, SO-DIMM RAM and a flawless Linux story out of System76. The 13th-gen H chip runs hot and the battery is 6 hours real, so it is a desk machine that travels, not a road warrior.

popos: Ships Pop!_OS or Ubuntu with System76 Open Firmware (coreboot plus the System76 EC). Everything is wired up by the vendor, no fingerprint reader by design. DDR4 SO-DIMM and a replaceable battery, so it is genuinely serviceable. The trade for the 13700H and 144 Hz panel is heat and a 6-hour real battery.
fedora: Fedora installs fine; you lose the System76 firmware integration polish but the hardware itself is standard Intel and clean. Raptor Lake H s2idle is solid.
