debian: ChromeOS device. The only sane Linux story is Crostini, the Debian container ChromeOS ships. That covers a terminal, Docker-ish work via lxc, and editors. Wiping ChromeOS for a full distro on this Mendocino-based board is a project, not a feature, and not something we tested. Buy it if you want ChromeOS plus light Linux apps, not as a Linux laptop.
